Who we are
The Burwells have been married for over 56 years. They have raised three daughters and one son, who have all attended Bible College. Two of their four children are pastor’s wives and all four of their children are busy serving God in independent, fundamental, Baptist Churches. The Burwells have eight grandchildren.
After 36 years of pastoring, Brother Burwell felt the call of God on his life in January of 2002, to enter the ministry of Evangelism. With a burden for local churches and pastors all across America, Brother and Mrs. Burwell have committed the rest of their lives to helping the local church. With 36 years of pastoral experience and a love for souls, Brother Burwell truly is an evangelist with a Pastor’s heart. Now with more than 56 years of preaching experience, Brother Burwell is a well-seasoned, veteran preacher.
Brother Burwell and his wife have started two churches that continue to be beacons of light in their communities.
Brother Burwell’s experiences includes Pastor, Christian School Director, College Speaker, Radio Speaker, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director and Bus Ministry Director along with other varied ministries.
Mrs Burwell has been a Sunday school teacher for over 35 years and a faithful worker in the ministry with Brother Burwell. She has also had a wonderful ministry with the elderly and shut-ins through the years.
Our work
All across America, independent, fundamental Baptist churches are under attack. In many cases, pastors and churches have become discouraged. Our desire is to be a help and encouragement to those pastors and churches.
We have had the opportunity to speak not only in churches that are going through the battle, but also to those that are experiencing the great blessing of victory. In every case, our desire is to be a friend to the independent, fundamental, soul-winning, Baptist church.
